Reality DTx® uses state-of-the-art augmented reality (AR) glasses from Microsoft and Magic Leap which have the widest array of sensors (IMUs) and cameras which can track user movement, eye movement and environment data which is translated into clinically meaningful data by Strolll’s software (e.g., meters walked, squats completed, reach movements completed and the number of active minutes (time exercising) which gives adherence data. Additional data can be added for specific parameters like step length, walking speed, cadence, turn time, reach distance, reaction time and much more.
The software also records game performance (how well the user completed the prescribed exercise). This data is sent automatically between the Augmented Reality headset and the online Clinican Web Portal where the healthcare professional can review it remotely, and then use the dashboard via their laptop/computer to amend and personalize the patient's prescription to ensure it is progressive and maintains a challenging-but-doable level to continuously improve clinical outcomes.
