Empowering Jayne to take action to prevent decline

Jayne has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s since 2017, however she had experienced symptoms for several years before the official diagnosis. Jayne is particularly motivated to combat the progression of the disease and maintain her current level of health.

Using Reality DTx® has empowered Jayne with self-responsibility for independent, home-based exercise and has proven to be a beneficial aspect of her overall rehabilitation plan.

Completing her daily exercises on the glasses has given Jayne a sense of personal accountability and has significantly contributed to both her physical and mental well-being.

Jayne is naturally very competitive and following a discussion with her therapist, she recognised that using Reality DTx®, coupled with being held accountable and monitored, would enhance her focus and motivation to complete the prescribed daily exercises and to progress each day with the aim of beating her high scores.

From the initial assessment, she has successfully maintained all baseline outcome measurements. This aligns well with her long-term goal of preventing or slowing the decline associated with Parkinson’s disease through exercise.
