Helping Sue to maintain her mobility

Sue, now living independently after the passing of her husband a few years ago, who had also suffered from Parkinson’s, received her own diagnosis of Parkinson’s just over a year ago, though she had been aware of her symptoms for much longer than this.

Despite living alone, Sue is fully independent, maintaining good mobility and experiencing minimal issues with balance.

However, witnessing the swift impact that Parkinson’s had on her husband, Sue is motivated to proactively address her own health and maintain her mobility.

Following a discussion with her neuro physiotherapist, Vicky Knight at LV Rehab, Sue opted to explore Reality DTx®.

After being prescribed Reality DTx®, Sue was given a daily exercise program with several rehabilitation games designed to target the maintenance of her key motor functions that are slowly being impacted by Parkinson’s.

Her enthusiasm for using the device has led her to consistently completing the exercise program up to three times a day. Sue remains dedicated to her daily Reality DTx® routine at home, driven by her determination to combat Parkinson’s and maintain her overall well-being and fitness levels.
